Legends of the Ball, Inc. (LOB, Inc.) is proud to support the next generation of women leaders in sports by sponsoring a scholarship for the 54th class of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy (WCA), hosted by WeCOACH in partnership with the NCAA. This year’s Academy, held May 18–21 in Denver, Colorado, brings together over 100 women coaches from across the country for a transformative experience in leadership development and personal growth.

The NCAA Women Coaches Academy and its advanced counterpart, NCAA Academy 2.0, are designed to empower women coaches from all collegiate levels and sports. These programs provide a unique opportunity for participants to build leadership skills, gain confidence, and connect with a powerful network of peers and mentors. With representation from 24 sports and institutions across NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, and more, the 2025 cohort reflects the diversity and strength of women in coaching today.

As part of our ongoing mission to honor the legacy of the trailblazing women of the WBL and to uplift future generations, LOB, Inc. is honored to be among the Academy Partners helping to make this experience accessible. Our scholarship sponsorship helps ensure that deserving coaches—regardless of financial barriers—can benefit from this life-changing program.

This year’s Academy also features the presentation of the 2024–25 Lifetime Achievement Awards, recognizing five extraordinary women coaches for their lasting impact on the profession. Attendees will gain inspiration from these honorees during a keynote conversation that celebrates their journeys and contributions.
