The 2024 Basketball Hall of Fame was special for LOB, Inc. and the WBL. During the 25th anniversary of the Hall, Rita Gail Easterling was inducted representing the TRIAD of which we all belong … Title IX, the AIAW, and the WBL. It was a great class including WNBA Stars Taj McWilliams Franklin, Maya Moore, and Seimone Augustus; Coaches Sue Phillips and Roonie Scovel; and NBA trailblazing referee Violet Palmer.
The entire LOB, Inc. board enjoyed the weekend celebrating with fellow WBL members Coach Doug Bruno (class of 2022), Chuck Shriver, Breena Caldwell, Janie Fincher Roland, and Tesa Townsend Duckworth all from the Chicago Hustle and Tom Davis from the Houston Angels and Dallas Diamonds.
