Legends of the Ball, Inc. (“LOB, Inc.”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Company”) operates the  legendsoftheball@lobinc.org website (“Site”) as well as show historical and social relevance of the Women’s Basketball League; youth empowerment through athletic and leadership camps, scholarships, historical forums, educational presentations and projects; community outreach events; nonprofit collaborations, collectively known as the “Services.” It is important to remember that visitors to our Site understand what information we gather about them, how we use it, and how we work to protect it. By using our website, and/or signing up for Services such as membership or our newsletter, you consent to information practices outlined in our Privacy Policy. LOB, Inc. is committed to ensuring that your personal information shared over our Site and/or Services is protected and kept confidential. INFORMATION COLLECTION

LOB , Inc. maintains web logs to record data about all visitors who use the Site and interact with the Services and we will store this information. These logs may contain IP address information, type(s) of operating system(s) you use, the date and time you visited the site, and information about the type of device you use to connect to the Services and the Site pages you visited. All web logs are stored securely and are accessible to a very limited number of employees and contractors as required. Those with access to this data adhere to strict guidelines regarding user data security and privacy. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and done automatically by many websites, applications, and other services. LOB, Inc. uses IP addresses to calculate usage levels of the Site, help diagnose problems with our servers, administer our Site, and monitor regions from which you navigate to our Site. We may collect personal information about you via registration for newsletters, commenting, donations, membership and other areas. If you submit any personal information that is not your own, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you contact us with a question, comment, or complaint, we may collect your name and contact information (such as your email address or mailing address) in order for us to respond to your request. We may also keep a record of the correspondence in order to assist you in the future. If you sign up to receive marketing communications from LOB, Inc. we will collect your name and email address in order to email you regarding products and services that you have indicated are of interest to you. You may also be added to our marketing list when you create a LOB, Inc. account. We will not release your name, email address or any other personal information to anyone outside LOB, Inc. without your consent, unless we are under a legal order to do so, or there is an emergency involving danger to a person or property. We will not provide our advertisers or anyone else outside LOB, Inc. with any information specific to you unless we have your consent. If you chose to provide your personally identifiable information for the purposes of a third-party contest, survey or newsletter, your consent shall be deemed to be given for the release of your personally identifiable information with regard to that third party only, in addition to LOB, Inc.. Only authorized LOB, Inc. employees or consultants are allowed access to personal information about you. Any employee or consultant who violates our privacy and security policies is subject to disciplinary action. We occasionally have service contractors, third party agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and joint ventures that perform functions on our behalf, including but not limited to credit card processing and website hosting. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, and are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of the data. They are restricted from using or altering this data in anyway other than to provide the requested services to LOB, Inc. In addition, we may always share, disclose, and transfer all information, postings, and any and all other personal and non-personal information we have collected to a successor-entity in the case of the sale of the assets of LOB, Inc. corporate reorganization, merger, change in control, or other similar transaction. 

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF ANONYMOUS INFORMATION

Anonymous Information is any information other than personal information, including aggregate information derived from personal information. LOB, Inc. may use this information to improve LOB, Inc. website and Services, to monitor traffic and general usage patterns, and for other general business purposes as well as to inform publishers as to what content is appealing to readers, to inform advertisers of the usage habits or characteristics of the interested audience, and to advise potential donors so that they may better understand our LOB, Inc. user base.

We do not encrypt normal web sessions, however any transmission to the LOB, Inc. website or service of credit card information uses SSL encryption to help protect the data. 

AMENDMENT OR DELETION

You have a right to request that LOB, Inc. amend or delete the information it collects from your use of the Site if you believe it is incorrect or incomplete, and you may request an amendment or deletion for as long as the information is retained by LOB, Inc. In order to access, correct, amend, remove, obtain a copy, or limit the use of any of your information that has been collected and stored, please send your request to  webquestions@lobinc.org. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request to access, correct, amend, remove, obtain a copy, or limit the use of your information. LOB, Inc. may, under certain circumstances, deny your request by sending you a written notice of denial. We will use the email address from your request to identify information that LOB, Inc. has previously collected and stored. We will respond to your request at our earliest convenience and in accordance with applicable law.

LOB, Inc. provides links and pointers to Web Sites maintained by other organizations. LOB, Inc. provides these links as a convenience to users, but it does not operate or control such Sites.
